Midwest Takeover is an AAU program that is focused on developing the player -
NOT ON WINS AND LOSSES.
Our first priority is to make sure that the players improve their skill set and knowledge of the game.
We expect all players to attend practices and work at 100% at all times.
We are teaching life skills through basketball; from teamwork, communication, dedication, work ethic to dealing with adversity. Our families come from different social-economic backgrounds. It has been and remains important to us as a staff to promote inclusion.
The workouts/practices are designed to push our players mentally and physically. We want them all to get out of their comfort zones. Our staff is made up of former college and professional athletes with several members having coached at the high school and collegiate levels. In return for their hard work and dedication, players will become physically and mentally stronger and better prepared for adversities they will face on and off the court.
